I was War, the first Horseman of the Apocalypse and I was a bad ass mutha. Not only was there gameplay but there were also dozens of poor Horsemen wannabes being thrown from the mechanical steed, Ruin. I had been anticipating some playtime with Darksiders for a while and I finally got it at PAX. War’s attacks were great! Crushing heads never really got old at all. I liked the fact that you could interact with the environment and use the environment against the enemies.
I picked up a car and did a lot of damage to nearby threats. I picked up all kinds of things but the best weapons were the default weapons especially the magic attacks. I have a feeling we’ll all be playing a bit of War when this releases.

Good read. I’m really interested in The Saboteur and Shank. Also glad to see that ODST didn’t feel like “just another halo game”.

well the PAX shirts weren’t a contest
and my favorite of the show was probably Dante’s Inferno. that game was NICE. followed up closely by The Saboteur and Split/Second.

I am probably most interested in The Saboteur and I too have already bought my ticket, made the necessary room reservations for PAX East!

Actually, except from borderlands, all those games looked “meh…” to me. I have not checked on them for a few months though and I guess they have got better. But sometimes, games that looks good aren’t and those who don’t are master piece. Wet was one that looked great, but the demo left me totally emotionless.

i actually enjoyed Wet. crazy, ridiculous, wasn’t great..but i had fun playing it.
