Lost Planet 2 Co-op Demo, August 19!
I remember a few E3’s ago and all the hype that the original Lost Planet had surrounding it. Will the follow-up to it have the same success? We’re about to find out.
Starting on August 19 , Xbox 360 owners will be able to download the co-op demo for Lost Planet 2 that Capcom has been showing at events such as E3, Comic-Con and GamesCom. Live Gold members will have first crack at the demo on August 19, while Silver level members will be able to take part on August 26.
You’ll be knee deep in chaos battling against the enormous G-Type Salamander Akrid boss in online, co-operative shoot outs. Utilizing a host of weapons scattered through out the arena, squads of up to four players will face off against the huge monster in an attempt to bring it down.
The demo is a brief glimpse into the world and possibilities of Lost Planet 2, highlighting the range of weaponry available to players while showing off the high definition graphical capabilities of MT Framework 2.0, the latest version of Capcom’s proprietary 3D game engine.
What say you? Read to get lost again?

Crapcom doesn’t make many good games… They are the EA of Japan.

It wasn’t the best but it was good. I’m a robit nerd and I loved the ending when the energy swords/flying was going on. Seriously though Mike it’s Bubble Gum Candy Cloud Time, smile!

The graphics of Lost Planet 2 look nice. Maybe approaching the quality of The Unreal Engine?

This plus Dead Rising 2 = Big win for Capcom. IIRC, weren’t Lost Planet and Dead Rising the first 2 one-million selling 3rd party titles on 360, or something like that?
