Electronic Arts Music Group and Playboy Mansion just made all the buzz about San Diego Comic-Con second fiddle.  Who doesn’t prefer bunnies at the “Mansion” versus a bunch of cosplay Jedi troopers?  I know I do.  Now of course I won’t be at either but my imagination is much more intrigued by the event going down at the Playboy Mansion.

This Friday the 4 biggest EA soundtracks  of the year (Madden 10, NBA LIVE 10, NHL 10, FIFA 10) will be announced at a big party at the Playboy Mansion.  I know you’re wondering who the hell is going to even care with Hef’s little bunnies running around but the event must go on.  EA is all set to live blog the event so if you want immediate satisfaction, check out Rock the Mansion.

There will be the usual assortment of celebrities at the event including the Daywalker himself, Blade bad ass Wesley Snipes, and the beautiful Kelly Rowland (my favorite child of Destiny’s Child).  There will also be a few athletes on deck including Steelers RB Willie Parker, former Chiefs LB Donnie Edwards and a few legends of the NFL in John Elway, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders, Marcus Allen, Marshall Faulk, and Eric Dickerson.  The event should be fun.

I’m passing this information along because I feel like quite a few of you share my love for bunnies and games.  And this should set up some good stuff for my Soundtracks & Bands feature.  EA definitely brings the heat when it comes to hot tracks in their games so hopefully you guys will be able to get closer to some of the bands being used.
