I’ve not experienced it on PSN, but I have heard a lot of it on Xbox Live. I guess that has something to do with the Sony console being more expensive, so the players are older or more mature, and the kids are likely coming from more wealthy families and are better educated. Not saying it doesn’t happen on PSN, just that I have never once heard the word “fag” or “gay”. Well, I tell a lie…I saw someone in PS Home calling someone a fag in text, but they were immediately [and rightly] banned.

Like racism, it is all down to ignorance. In fact half of you ignorant homophobes wouldn’t be sat typing abuse on such a thing as a personal computer were it not for the advances made in computing technology by Alan Turing – the British mathematician and computer engineer who just happened to be gay. There are also lots of gay people in Silicon Valley, Japan and other places working on the technology and games you own, so you really need to learn some respect for your betters. That’s right..”betters”. They are better and smarter than you, as just because you are heterosexual, it does not make you superior to them. It is your actions in this life that determine your worth, and they are creating wonderful things for all of us to enjoy…whereas you’re just sat in your mom’s house shouting abuse into a headset at someone you don’t even know.

i think that issue is resolved now with the recent update allowing sexual expression now.

Gamertag stepto also known as Steven Tollhouse banned my account for a week because my bio says your mom called she says your gay which was an inside bio between a friend and I coming out of the closet! Obviously mr. Tollhouse has something against homosexuals like me coming out of the closet. Its people like him that put Nazis into power with there fascist ways! I did not use any profanity in my account I did not push my sexuality on any one! Yet I get banned because my profile says (Your mom called she says your Gay) as a gay man I am offended by mr. Tollhouses direct disregard for my sexuality as a gay man and a direct violation of my 1st ammendment rIght! I did noit in anyway breach my contract with xbox! I did not use any profanity and did not insult anyone directly! We let people like stepto do what they want and we will end up like WWII Germany!

Being truthful about how I feel, & think when I hear a gay guy talk/act female like… isn’t being ignorant. Maybe me feeling that way too you is, but I am speaking honestly about my heterosexual self… & I have no doubt that many heterosexual males feel the same as I when they hear or see a gay guy talk/act the very weak way many of them do. Major Nelson comes to mind, & I think he is a closet case. lol

No matter what you say Lady_F, you can’t change that.

Mike your ignorance never ceases to amaze me. If you don’t feel that the event that is being hosted is needed then so be it say so but as I said there is no need for these types of comments. All they appear to be is a lame attemt for attention. You completely fail at trying to sound tough and manly.
