Battlefield 1943 on Xbox LIVE Arcade
I love airplane games but I love airplane games that toss in the ability to play in multiple vehicles and perspectives even more. I personally cringe at the 1200 Microsoft Points it’ll take to purchase the game considering it’s online only but perhaps I’m just too tight on my points. Battlefield 1943 was developed by one of my favorite developers, DICE, and it’s using one of my favorite game engines, Frostbite. That alone has me really close to purchasing this so I can just destroy a lot of crap.

If you purchase the game, let me know. There’s multiplayer (up to 24 players) in it so it might be a good one to get some friends together and blow things up. This one just might be well worth the points. Queue up the demo and give it a spin.

First, I have only played for 30 min but so far its a ton of fun. I played the trial (30 Min Limit) and was impressed. I havent been able to play the full unlocked game yet because EA is having some networking issues. I actually like the fact that there is unlimited ammo and the plane controls take getting use to. Definitely recommend this to everyone.

I’ll give the demo a go tonight. Well for at least 30 minutes.

Just got the game as a prize thanks to my pals at 360Junkies, really looking forward to this game as I’m a 100% fan of Battlefield: BC (I like it even better that COD4!). More hectic combat for the 360!

24 players is really weak for an online Battlefield.

Maybe they were worried that the games wouldn’t be filled up with players. I guess they forgot it’s XBL – not PSN. I have no idea what this game is, but I might try it out, seems as there will be people here playing it

It’s Bad Company disguised with a WW2 theme. And For only 15$ it’s a solid deal IMO. The Frostbite engine is still kickin ass here

me love Frostbite!

I agree with you, Goon360 – how amazing does the water looks just on the Tutorial! Nicely done!

All I could do last night was run around the tutorial and I think I’m sold. If DICE and EA are adding servers like they say, this could turn out to be a great summer game. I’m also very interested in helping the community out with the 43 million kills. Gotta unlock that extra map!

I’ll have to check it out…

please don’t make me spend 1200 points guys lol

IMO its defiantly worth it. I’ve already logged 10+ hours, much more than any other arcade purchase or title I’ve picked up for 15 Bucks. I hope DICE continues to support the game though, with only 1 game mode and 3(excluding coral beach) maps it may start to get repetitive. It’s only been 2 days though and I’m still wondering when the “wow factor” is going to wear off.

@ Deacon
This is a great game for a U360 night. I purchased it last night and after a few tries I was able to get into a game and it was totally awesome. If anything, give the demo a run. I think you’ll see that it is worth the 1200 points. Honestly after buying this for 1200, Castle Crashers seems expensive. *ducks*

well i don’t have 1200 points lol.
