Halo 3: ODST, R U Ready?
I realized I haven’t said much of anything about this title and I have my reasons. One of those reasons is that I haven’t quite finished the fight with Halo 3 so with that lack of interest to do so, I wasn’t all thrilled about Halo 3: ODST. But I realize this isn’t all about me and there are bazillions of Halo fans so I give you the scoop now on this expansion campaign especially since a pretty cool pre-order option was announced. If you purchase the game, you get access to the beta for Halo: Reach (yes there’s more Halo coming). And if you pre-order you get a token to unlock Halo veteran Sgt. Johnson as a playable character.

New hero. New campaign. New multiplayer. Developed exclusively for Xbox 360 (duh), Halo 3: ODST is a new game in the Halo saga that lets people experience events leading up to the epic story told in Halo 3 through the eyes of an ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper), as they search for clues leading to the whereabouts of their scattered squad and the motivations behind the Covenant’s invasion of New Mombasa. That’s right, there’s no Masterchief. You’re an all-new hero this time.
There’s even a new type of mode coming to Halo 3: ODST (some call it Horde in Halo). This new mode is called Firefight and in it you’re members of an ODST squad fighting against waves of increasingly challenging enemies across a variety of battlefields. Everyone’s doing their own little twist to Horde Mode these days.
Halo 3: ODST is dropping in stores on September 22 this year so get ready Halo fans. The unfortunate thing about this “expansion campaign” is that it’ll retail for $59.99 instead of the previously announced $40. I guess there’s more pudding in the center.

No, the game will be the same crap without Master chief… Same old shooting FPS aspects that get boring fast (SP is also short) WITHOUT feeling like the badass Master chief.
Pass, especially for $60

“the only way to guarantee a good time on Halo 3.” – I couldn’t agree more. I’m fed up of matchmaking arseholes now
Boo the the full price aswell, I hate Bungie’s lies. They’ve definitely gone off the rails since becoming independant, just look at what they did to their site with all the daily garbage on it. Not to mention how they butchered every decent playlist… So yeah, U360 night for the win

[...] Firefight Mode is a beast and this game has its own flavor. I really couldn’t believe it but I felt like I was playing a completely different game and not just another Halo title. That was impressive. I’m glad I have it on the way. [...]
