Flashback – iPlay Original Xbox, iPreview 360
I was busy tonight making a family video of my daughter’s first 5 years and I came across these pictures. Yep, that’s me chillin’ at Electronic Arts taking a preview of Need for Speed Most Wanted. The more interesting news about this was that it was one of the first times the “media and community” got their hands on the Xbox 360 which was launching later that year. You’ll notice on the controller that there is no Guide button. The design for the Guide button had not yet been finalized so the controllers had just a little generic white button. You can also see the “Prototype” label on the black Debug Kit.
I thought this would be a cool little trip down memory lane to share with you guys and girls. I really wanted one of those green original Xbox consoles but I could never get my hands on one beyond these little events.

I think you should do this more often (if there is time) stuff like this is awesome, its like going to your house and looking thru your photo albums, older photos not only take us back “with you” but also make us think about what we were doing around that same time. Great post!

I agree, Deac, if you can do more of this, or similar would be cool. You know how we are nostalgic. What happened to you discussing older games(XBOX) like you used to?
