Overlord II Demo, Minions Ready Up!

It’s time to control everyone’s favorite little gremlins minions once again.  Are you ready to plunder, pillage and raid again?  Codemasters released a demo for Overlord II yesterday so head out to the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and grab it.  Here’s the queue link for the people stuck behind a computer right now.  It’s exclusive right now to Gold members.

Overlord II Yeti Fight

In the Overlord II demo, players step into the big spiky boots of a new Overlord whose sights are firmly set on becoming the king of chaos, the bringer of evil and the master of Minions.  As the demo opens the Overlord, aided and abetted by a team of brown fighter Minions, emerges from his underground lair into the ice caves only to discover a Yeti frozen in a block of ice.

The Minions can, in their inimitably violent way, ‘defrost’ him and then give chase as he knuckles out into the snowy wastes of the Hunting Grounds, near the town of Nordberg.

Time to be menacing and bring the deviousness out in us all once more.

Sweet! I love it. As long as they don;t have the little bugs from the first this could be the funniest game of the year.

You can actually control the camera with the right thumbstick, so that is a big improvement over the first game. Also, they added a mini map.

Yay for right stick camera controls. That was my biggest gripe with the first one.
