The BIGS 2 Returns, Bigger & Better!
I think this game was one of the more surprising and fun experiences on the Xbox 360 in 2007. For those of you who were around during that time, you’d know that it was one of my favorite games. (listen in to Episode #39) I’m not a big baseball fan but I am a big sports fan and this game allowed me to be the sports fan that I am because it took baseball and just made it fun for me. It was over the top and in your face…it was BIG. (yeah that was probably not as funny to you as it was to me) I’m glad 2K Sports is serving up another shot with The BIGS 2. Check out the screenshots and box art below. The game is rockin’ in the visual department yet again.

Screenshots: The BIGS 2
Available on all major video game consoles, The BIGS 2 allows fans to experience heroic gameplay, legendary game modes and incredible player models. Elevating The BIGS 2 to new heights are bigger power-ups, amazing visual effects, and an all new Become a Legend mode. Featuring exciting player animations and pick-up-and-play controls, The BIGS 2 is scheduled to be available on July 7, 2009.
I’m ready to go BIG…again.

Sony’s “The Show” is a far better baseball game.

well i would listen to that if The BIGS was a true MLB game. it’s not. if you’re expecting “real” baseball with this then you’re better off with MLB 2K9 or MLB The Show.
this is an arcade style game..not meant for rules.

Hopefully they can do something to make it have some longevity. I think the best part about the first game was the home run pinball mini game.

Screenshots look great. Mike, not everyone has a PS3 so some can’t experience MLB The Show 09, which is the BEST baseball game out right now. MLB 2k9 is not as good and glitchy. As stated, this is a great arcade style baseball game.

I still play The Bigs’ homerun pinball mode about once a month. That game is just pure arcade style fun. My Dad even plays that game. Even though already own MLB 09: The Show, I’m still looking forward to this game.
