Quantum of Solace Maps, Where Art Thou?

Have we played all James Bond has to offer?  Remember when Treyarch and Activision promised all the Quantum of Solace pre-orderers that they’d get fresh, new maps in January?  I’m sure you were all so eager to hurry up and pre-order so that you could get the jump on the new maps before everyone.  You were probably all excited for that little “perk” right?

Quantum of Solace

Well it’d be nice if they ever delivered them wouldn’t it?  January has come and gone and we’re working our way through March currently with no news from Treyarch.  In fact the only news comes from Nerve Software Community Manager, Joel.  He posted on the Quantum of Solace message boards over a month ago claiming that he was restricted from most things regarding the DLC; specifically a timeframe.

I guess pre-ordering wasn’t so important afterall.  Looks like Bond is MIA.  What if these maps never come?  How many of you own Quantum of Solace and are even interested in knowing where these maps are?

All of this is just so strange to me.  I was in the process of a giveaway for these maps and then realized, “hey these maps aren’t even out yet”.   It wouldn’t make much sense to give out what doesn’t exist ya know.  How about it Treyarch?  Can we get some word?

And we’re also waiting for the DLC for the original Scene It, buddy. Remember the promise?

    Ah, how man forgets…

Treyarch is probably more focused on WaW DLC…. and perhaps companies should start including disclaimers on these offers such as: “Offer becomes void if there aren’t enough people playing the game online” :)

Disclaimer or not. If they use it to lure people in, they should provide. Since the maps were slated for two months after release they should of had some aspect of them complete. We wouldn’t mind if they dropped it from 5 maps to 2. As long as we get something for our purchase.
