Gold Members get crowned on Xbox.com

Oh how I love the smell of new things that are really so small I shouldn’t even point out but because I like being unique amongst millions of Xbox LIVE owners, I felt it was my duty to make note of it.  Enough rambling?

Ok, for all of you Xbox LIVE Gold Members out there who also frequent Xbox.com, you’ll notice that below your Gamertag is a nice little gold crown identifying you as a proud Gold Member of the service.  And that’s not Goldmember a la Austin Powers.  You have to sign in of course to witness the magic.  Don’t you feel special now?  Microsoft continues to try and make it more attractive to pony up for Gold.

I wonder what other little surprises they’ll bring in order to convince Silver Members to upgrade to a Gold subscription?

    I would have preferred to see the crown on the gold bar of my gamertag. I don’t really need to see it on Xbox.com next to the words ‘Gold Member’ Like… I know that, I do remember paying for the service

    I think we have a Gold border around our Gamerpics as well. I don’t remember seeing that before.
