Resident Evil Limited Edition Red Elite!
The cat is now officially out of the bag ladies and gentlemen. Microsoft has announced that it is pulling out all the stops to usher in Capcom’s highly anticipated release, Resident Evil 5, by giving gamers a hot red Resident Evil Limited Edition Xbox 360 Elite. I suppose this should at least dress up those red rings of death if you were to get one. It might make them pretty enough to deal with being that they match ya know.

I’m seriously tempted to drop a pre-order on this thing. It’s an Xbox 360 Elite along with a wireless red controller ($65), Resident Evil 5 ($60) and an XBLA game ($10). That saves me roughly $140 with all the extras. I think I just jizzed in my pants.
Supply is supposed to be limited so if you’re thinking of getting one, then make plans before March 13th when these puppies are slated to be in stores. It’d be cool if they switched the lights to red to fake everyone out and make the green rings the sign of death. Or maybe not.

While I did not enjoy the demo much, this Red Elite is very cool looking. I wouldn’t mind having a second unit and keeping it my company’s apartment overseas (where I am currently and itching to play my 360 – thank goodness for Halo PC).
$400 is a great deal for all the goodies.

I personally love the clean red look. If it had a logo on it, the excitement of the machine would wear off when RE5 dies.
