Fallout 3 DLC, The Pitt, Screenshots
Ready for more DLC from Bethesda and Fallout 3? Even if you’re not, you’re going to get more next month as The Pitt makes its way to the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Here are some screenshots from the new downloadable content. It’s being priced at 800 Microsoft Points.
The Pitt allows you to travel to the post-apocalyptic remains of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and become embroiled in a conflict between slaves and their Raider masters. Explore a sprawling settlement ravaged by time, neglect, nuclear radiation, and moral degradation. The Pitt is filled with morally grey choices, shady NPCs, new enemies, new weapons, and much more.

Screenshots: The Pitt DLC
The Pitt opens with a desperate radio message, and a meeting with its sender, an escaped slave named Wernher. Wernher claims that the leader of “The Pitt” has created a cure for mutations… and he needs you to go in and retrieve it. From there, the player can proceed in a number of ways, in true Fallout 3 style.
Do you fight your way in, or disguise yourself as a slave? Ally with the slaves, or join their Raider overlords? The Pitt is very morally ambiguous – there’s no real right or wrong, just choices to be made, sides to be chosen, and a mystery that could send shockwaves throughout the entire Wasteland.

Hey Deacon, or anybody else out there.
Has anyone bought these add ons? and are they worth it? I have been playing this game since it came out, and i know some people just love to do the missions and solve the game, but i like to explore and find things on my own. Are these new levels just about passing a mission or is there another big open map and hidden locations and hidden items to find?
Thanks in advance.

From the article I am getting the impression that The Pitt will be a “physical” area to explore, unlike Anchorage, which was a “simulation”. Me likey this a lot more.

Cant Wait. I Love the Fallout series and have played all of them as they were released and the DLC just adds more to the fun without waiting 10 years for more Fallout again.
