I know I’m not the only one looking forward to the next movie in the X-Men universe.  X-Men Origins: Wolverine (the movie) is looking like it’s going to kick all kinds of ass with awesomeness.  However, I’ve always been skeptical about games and their potential to be as good as their movie counterparts but after seeing these new screenshots of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (the video game) my mind is almost at ease.  They look Wolvetastic.

The screenshots cover three different levels in the game: Agent Zero, Alkali Lake and the Jungle.  From what I’ve heard, the game will allow you to be just as brutal with Logan as the movie is allowing.  So we can expect some devastating combos and attacks.  The environments look really good so far.  I just hope the gameplay can match the visual display.
