I did the trial and had a great time watching some movies I wouldn't have found in the video stores - and as entertaining as it was, I can't see my connection holding up against the test of HD downloads. Unfortunately, that's the current state of affairs and doesn't seem to want to change any time soon. At any rate, once I get a connection with more bandwidth, I'm stuck with renting DVD's the old way. Thankfully, Redbox serves our area here in Charlotte, NC and I can get a new-release for only a buck (or free, if I have a code). That's tight!

I really enjoy the Netflix service through the 360. The selection is growing every week. There are shows from the 80's and 90's, and even current shows, like Heroes. I currently have 250+ items on my instant queue. I probably won't watch them all, but they are there just in case I have a craving to watch one. Currently, I am getting caught up with Doctor Who, of which they have the first three series. I plan on getting caught up with Heroes also.

Unfortunately, you can't check out what's available for instant viewing unless you have a subscription, but if you know someone who has one, ask to check out what's available.
