Gears of War 2 Patched, More Fixes
Is anyone out there still playing Gears of War 2? If so then Epic Games is at least trying to make the experience better for you. The next time you fire up the game you’ll be prompted with the latest title update. Hopefully these latest fixes will bring new life to the game.

Here’s a quick rundown of a few of the fixes but you can check out the entire list of fixes at this link.

HooYah, this is what I have been waiting for and fixes nearly every exploit I had been griping about. Looks like I have more to do with this game now than just playing through the campaign.

It amazing to look at the list of fixes on the GoW forums. Seriously, as a gamer who hasn’t played the matchmaking, that game looks like it shipped straight up broken. First Gears 1, now this. Epic, I see where your priorities are. I’ll be second guessing on getting Gears 3 and any other Epic game(s) from now on.

Glad they got most if not all of the problems fixed, but sad thing is almost everyone has “moved” on. What I think they should do is release some awesome maps for free and try and bring everyone back…otherwise…it could be to little to late for a really great game IMHO.

I’m glad to see everything fixed, but the fix to kicking down the shield is going to kill Horde strategies

I set Gears 2 aside because of all of the issues, so I’m glad to be able to dive back into the multiplayer; hopefully there are still people playing.

They put their foot in their mouths when they had the audacity to charge for the map-pack, unassumingly losing a huge base of then-hardcore gamers. If they had given it away, they’d have saved many who landed in zombie-town (L4D).

Another good question would be: who is more inclined to now BUY the expansion maps, now that these bugs have been fixed?

I love RE5! I got it for the Xbox 360 and its sweet. I think the game is mint. The controls were hard to get used to at first, but after a little while you start getting really good at it!
