Top 5 Most Anticipated 2009
What’s a new year without a look at those titles that should have just about everyone’s temperature rising? These are the types of games that you almost want to bribe the local game store clerk to release it a little bit early just for you. These are the types of games that you have several RSS feeds going to get the latest updates for.
Perhaps you haven’t gone that far but these are still my Top 5 Most Anticipated games set to release this year.
Resident Evil 5 - It’s co-op Resident Evil next generation style. Got change of underwear? We’ll get a taste of it with the demo soon.
Fight Night Round 4 - Finally Mike Tyson will be playable in a game that matters. I got dibs on the ear biting cheat code in this one!
Dark Void - This game is shaping up quite nicely with its vertical and horizontal movement scheme. Take a look at the video and you’ll see what I mean. Don’t let me down Capcom.
Batman: Arkham Asylum - Someone decided to bring a darker Batman to video game fans and I’m excited to see how it turns out. The screenshots look sick so at least it’ll be pretty to look at.
F.E.A.R. 2 - Who hasn’t been waiting for the return of this game? Will it be what the original was and scare the crap outta people? I can’t wait to find out.
There are more titles to get geeked about this year naturally so you can imagine the difficulty in picking five of them. Simply consider the likes of Halo Wars, Saboteur, Street Fighter IV, or Alan Wake (if it ever releases) and you’ll understand how hard it was.

Hardly even a day later and Deadly posts on his site “No Final Fantasy XIII for the West Until 2010.” I can almost feel tears. Looking on the bright side though, time seems to fly these days (the wait for Fable II didn’t seem that long at all to me, after the announcement). Plus I suppose that gives them time to iron out any technical glitches, like The Last Remnant had. It had better be perfection on release. I can’t even think of a new most anticipated 09, because nearly all the games I’m looking forward to are unconfirmed 09.

i think alan wake and bioshock 2 have been soo hyped up, they better be amazing!!
call of duty modern warfare 2 wil also be soooooo good, if it’s anything like the first
