Castle Crashers King Pack Wednesday

If you haven’t purchased Castle Crashers just yet, then perhaps news of new downloadable content will entice you to give The Behemoth’s action adventure a try.  The King Pack includes two new characters (the Open Faced Grey Knight and the leader of the fearless knights, The King), a new seal animal orb named Pelter, and three new weapons, including the Gold Sword.  You can even cast a new spell called the King’s Heal which heals not only yourself but your party as well!

Castle Crashers

The King Pack will be priced at 160 Microsoft Points and available this Wednesday.  There aren’t many (okay around 2) titles that I believe have been worth the 1200 Microsoft Points attached to them and Castle Crashers is one of them.  It’s 4-player co-op and has quite a bit of depth to it for an Xbox LIVE Arcade title.  In fact, I think I’m going to purchase it for my own Xbox 360 soon.  I bought it for my little brother over the Christmas holiday for his 360.  I might as well have my own copy.

lawlhalla: Castle Crashers was definitely worth the 1200 points, hands down. And $2? That’s cheap, I’ll get it.

    yes 1200 was worth it.
but these additions aren’t worth anything, these micro additions should be free. AT LEAST to compensate the waiting for months on a patch to fix the co-op in a game where co-op was the reason to buy it.

Yeow, I like! Castle Crashers is definitely worth the price, but I think the DLC could’ve been free too. I mean so many people completely ahd their data wiped and there were huge online complications, even though the core game worked. At least give something for free they’ve done nothing yet to compensate us.

i’m siding with lawl on this one. i’d like to have seen free DLC too especially given the price point and issues.

I agree with you, buddy. Althought I will certainly buy it (my daughter is making me crazy by reminding me each day to download it) I do agree they should have give it for free after the multiplayer fiasco we “enjoyed” for a while.
