For me, the demo will be my first foray into RTS gaming. I’m not sure if that’s a great way to become introduced to the genre. If it doesn’t knock my socks off, I’ll reluctantly pass. As a Halo fan, I want this to be a great game.

I was looking into my crystal ball yesterday on this very subject…it told me that this may be the one game in the series that I would play online. The RTS factor should drive the majority of problematic “happy birthday to me” singing 12 year olds that get into fights with their mother in the middle of a match. We’ve all met them and if your one, the first step to healing is “admitting you have a problem”. Don’t get me wrong the biggest online problem with RTS games will still be present with or without the singing, early disconnects!. Man I can’t count the number of times I’ve gotten into a nice groove in a real time strat only to be deprived of my glory by someone smart enough to realize they are being beaten and I’ve had to disconnect from the various exploiters using hacks to just totally own me.. I’m not claiming to be the greatest by any means I have suffered through some pretty brutal beatings at the hands of good friends and complete strangers. I look forward to some epic battle s with friends when this comes out, if you want a player give me a look, that is of course TBD means you’ll be able to play it online

alright!! im very glad they are coming out with a demo before the release! its a great idea for them it’ll get them some money. im glad because im not to excited about this game because its RTS and Halo on a console. and i love both RTS and Halo just dont know how it will play out

I will pick this up for sure. Wasn’t sure how it stacked up to RTS games like Starcraft but the story looks top notch.
