2009, The Year of ?
I hope you all had a safe and happy time ringing in the new year. I can’t believe it’s 2009 already. It seems like only yesterday really that I was graduating from high school or watching my daughter’s birth. My how time flies when you’re having fun giving things away and gaming eh?
What are the big differences you’ll try to carry out this year? I plan to up the awesomeness around here if at all possible. I also plan to really enjoy each day I’m still breathing. We get so caught up expecting to simply be here without actually taking a moment to enjoy the little things in life like family, health and living. I plan to do just that and enjoy each and every friggin’ day to the utmost.

So what’s this year going to be for you? The year of what? I got dibs on making this the Year of Awesome for me. I’m going full blast on making this the best damn blogalicious blog around!

This is the year where I will focus more on tennis, and play a nationals event (hopefully!). So unfortunately vidogames might be a second priority.

Tennis is for nerds
I played for HS/College teams and just about any USTA event I could drive or ride with my rents to.
I plan to be healthier as well, more exercise and even better diet. Continue with my zero alcohol policy (it’s been 2 years) and maybe even catch another type of buzz around April or May LOL.

Took the words right outta my mouth. Well said sir. It’s funny how time flies now when you start to get older and you used to hear your parents say “you grow up so fast” but being a parent now (I’m just 26), I look back and catch myself saying the EXACT same things they used to say. I can safely say being greatful, thankful & appreciative for how blessed I am is something I am going to work on this year…after that I think everything else will fall into place.
