u can also put the “$systemupdate” folder onto a usb drive plug it in and it will install it. Note: The USB flash drive must use the FAT32 file system.

AHH, hopefully this will work. i bought fable 2 the other day, but it kept freezing at a certain point. So i took it into game, told them that it dosent work, they basiclly told me to go away! anyway. i rang lionhead and they told me to reupdate the NXE. Even though ive already done it via XBL. But i couldnt find it through the xbox website so. Anyway thx for this it helped. I love HALO! HAHAHA

Dear friends,

After Dec 2008, xbox has launched the latest update on 3 feb 2009. You can downlaod it, copy on a USB (on the root)…….thats it update the system.
I don’t know will it work for Avi or not, some one in my are is playaing AVI on xbox360, doing some update.
I m trying to get the information and will post at the earliest.

i went 2 my friends place 2 download it by bring my x box over and it worked. so for all u people wit dial-up internet u can go over 2 a friends place and download it from there, just bring ur 360.

most of the times that answer is no. but there are some titles that ship with the latest updates on them. mostly though no you can’t get title updates and such without Xbox LIVE.

ok sweet it worked wonderfully,

but i have another question, and i’v searched everywhere..
is it possible to get the normal media updates without live aswell?
cos that would be awesome…but most places tell me that you have to have live?
