I will be pre-ordering the special edition, if it becomes available in the UK (and the extras don't disappear like Fable II's did). More than anything I just want this to be FUN, like the Red Alert series of C&C. For example I'd be happier with laughing at the interaction between the races (like funny dialogue/taunts, trademark attacks), than an attempt at some serious story. However, I'm not too pumped for this game. The brilliance of the Halo series, like any good FPS is that one gets to be the character. It's great being the Chief and kicking the crap out stuff in a very Herculean way. I just don't see myself enjoying being the coach on the sideline. I'd rather be taking the snaps.
