Inside Xbox Spotlight, DeaconBlade
I knew something very strange was going on as I logged into Xbox.com to check my messages and noticed an onslaught of messages and friend requests. What I didn’t know was that Inside Xbox was featuring my Gamertag Spotlight! If you have the NXE though, you won’t be able to see it so I’ve attached a picture of it thanks to ThisIsTheEnd. I did this particular Q&A way back in 2005 so some of the information is old while other parts of it was updated. For instance, everyone should know my favorite TV show is HEROES now.
I wanted to thank TriXie and the crew behind Inside Xbox for showing me the love. I hope it brings some new eyes to the place and gives people a look at the great community you guys have created. The unfortunate side effect of this I’ve come to realize is that it brings nearly all of the idiots on Xbox LIVE out who somehow think sending random, ignorant messages to people they don’t know is cool.
What’s even more surprising is that the majority of the immaturity was from the US members. My friends from the north in Canada were 99.9% filled with nothing but class. I love Canada!

You probably wouldn’t believe the amount of nerve some people have at sending stupid messages. There were others that fit the Wall of Shame but the majority of messages were very cool and very Wall of Fame worthy. I appreciate those. I’ll be talking more about the reality of Xbox LIVE on the live show this Saturday so tune in!

I was lucky enough to have been interviewed for the Spotlight recently as well – with all the hate and everything.
One of the messages had something about liking feet that scared me. The vast majority, though, were Hall of Fame material, too.
Congratulations on being on the Spotlight, and can’t wait to see what you pull out of your hat next!

The wall of shame makes me wonder about these strange,strange people. Im not even going to guess an age for any of them for that is futile.
Sad how the US harbors many of the worlds “deedle dees”.
