Happy Monday, Let’s Skate
Well I’m excited about today especially after a much needed Dallas Cowboys win yesterday. Tonight is a thrilling episode of HEROES and I’m ready! I didn’t do much this weekend though so I don’t have any cool stories to tell. My birthday is on Wednesday, October 29th. Feel free to spare no expense on any birthday gifts.
T-shirts from the Ultimate Swagtastic Giveaway will be mailed out this weekend before I head out to Vancouver, Canada. I’ll be headed up north on Sunday for some hands-on time with Skate 2 courtesy of the EA Canada team. If you have some questions about Skate 2, then let me know so I can try to get them answered. The first one was really good and was a much needed change of pace to battle against Tony Hawk’s grip. It did well enough to warrant a sequel so I’ll get to see how it’s stacking up.
I also have a really exciting 12-hour bonanza coming up. I’m preparing some treats that will span 12 straight hours. Stay tuned for that!

GO COWBOYS! Glad we somehow pulled that out, much needed. Have a great trip be careful and I’ll put my money on Skate 2 being sweet. The first one stepped away from the arcade feel of TH and made the game more rewarding by makeing it more challenging…more than just a step in the right direction…it set the bar.

A few things I would like to know about skate 2.
1. Is the game going to run at 60 frames? I think it ran at 30fps in the first one.
2. Will TK(Terry Kennedy) be BLACK in the final version? He was white in a character trailer they released earlier and it bugged me out.
3. WHY NO PRod(Paul Rodriguez)!?

- How dramatic of a change is the post-earthquake setting of Skate 2 from Skate 1?
- Has the presentation of crashes and falls (where you break bones) been changed to something more grotesque?
