Flashback – Voodoo Vince
Voodoo Vince was more fun than people realize. What could be more interesting than doing damage to people by kicking your own ass? Vince was a voodoo doll after all and a really cute one at that.
In true voodoo style, Vince encounters and defeats quirky monsters and villains by kicking his own butt! By racing under a falling safe, jumping into a high-speed blender, or leaping under falling rubble, Vince is sure to defeat his enemies all while managing to escape completely unscathed.

Flashback Game: Voodoo Vince
Released: September 23 2003
Platform: Xbox
Next-Gen Meter: High
I’m setting the next-gen wish on this one at High because we need more platformers like this on the Xbox 360. It was one of the better looking Xbox titles so I can only imagine how a next-generation upgrade would fit. New Orleans could use a quirky game like this right about now.

Sounds like SackBoy could take a lesson from Vince. I have to admit, I saw this game on a shelf and laughed, never even looked at the back of the box. Maybe I’ll have to give it a go!

@Nu, but it’s not backwards compatible.

Meh, I’ve got an old Xbox sittin’ around (used for the completely legal purpose of C64, Atari, NES, Genesis, SNES, Atari, PS1, Gameboy, Virtual Boy, GBA, and N64 games…). It still plays Xbox games, when I have them.

would be pretty cool if you could customize your own voodoo dolls. *pictures an irishprik411 voodoo doll dunked head first into a guiness* I know mine would be planted in between two of the largest…. well thats not g rated better keep it clen “enough”.

I think Voodoo Vince was one of the best games of all-time. I still have it and periodically check to see if it will ever be enabled on the 360. My son, after having not played it since we upraded to the 360, still asks to play VV every once in a while. Total bummer it’s not working on the 360. Awesome game for good family entertainment.
