Scene It? Box Office Smash
I know everyone is foaming at the mouth to get their hands on the likes of Dead Space, Fallout 3 and Fable 2 this month but I didn’t want you to forget a game that just may trump them all when it comes to fun…well family fun that is.

Scene It? Box Office Smash is bringing the trivia punch again on October 28 and I can’t wait! It’s the day before my birthday too so any and all presents that include this game are welcome. I enjoyed Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action very much especially because it’s the perfect family game to party with.
The new game lets up to four teams challenge one another from the comfort of your living room or across the miles via Xbox LIVE. With the new Xbox LIVE experience, Scene It? Box Office Smash is the first game that lets you virtually put yourself into the game through custom avatars that respond to your play and react to one another throughout the course of the game. Naturally this won’t be the case until November 19th when the new update comes.
Who’s ready for more movie trivia?

I played Scene It once at a friend’s house, it was pretty fun. With the other stuff coming out this month though, I doubt I could afford this title.

I wonder if they will include DLC for these games. On the tableboard we have the Potter books, ESPN, Nick, you name them. I hope Microsoft doesn’t waste this wonderful title by not adding DLC per themes or with more added content.

i hope they’ve opened up the DLC on this one.

Hey Deacon, I know it’s a little late for this comment, but there’s something that came to my mind after the NXE release announcement: if this game is indeed using the avatars, but they’re released for next month, doesn’t it mean this game will be also delayed?
October 16th, 2008 at 10:28 am
Nope. It just means the Avatar feature will be delayed for it.
