NBA 2K9 Demo Tomorrow
The demo will offer fans an opportunity to relive this past season’s exciting NBA Finals and play in a four minute quarter as either the Los Angeles Lakers or Boston Celtics at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston. I have a developer conference call lined up tomorrow with 2K Sports’ Erick Boenisch (Lead Feature Designer on NBA 2K9) and Rob Jones (Gameplay Director for NBA 2K9).
I’ll hopefully be able to grab the audio of it and share it with everyone. Otherwise, I’ll try to report back with any answers to the questions you guys had. I’m ready to see how both of the NBA offerings stack up against each other this year.

I AM 28 YEARS OLD I HAVE BEEN PLAYING NBA LIVE FOREVER BUT WHEN I RENTED 2K8 I WAS LIKE DAM WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY GAME,N LIFE I NEVER GOT TO FOURTH AND I WENT OUT TO BUY IT I LOVE IT CANT SLEEP I NEED 2K9 MY WIFE WILL BE SLEEPING ALONE WHEN IT COME OUT EVEN MY JOB WILL MISS ME

Just finished my first 3 games. Its OK. Its not as quick and fluid as the last one though i think. And i think they have tried to make it alot like NBA Live. Everyones jersey looks 10 times to big for them and it just feels heavy. But hopefully all that will change.

The graphics is really good especially the gameplay..Every year 2k games improve graphically and in gameplay..It’s kinda like NBA Live but it definitely has better gameplay..

I played the demo and it is very very good. It is kinda like NBA LIVE 09 though, with the way the graphics and the players look on cut scenes, but the game is still better than NBA Live 09. Way Better. This is a must bet, though. The actual game will be way better than the Demo anyway.

u guys r all on drugs…… I’ve loved 2k since dreamcast but r u kidding me????? Play the NBA live demo a few consecutive times and then play 2k9…… It’s like playing double dribble…….I was absolutely 100% dissapointed with 2k9…… Live looks better, plays better , and is just better than 2k this year….. For chr!st sake all the players have like the exact same shot in 2k……. And when u shoot it feels like ur shooting a shotput…2k9 7/10 and I feel that’s being nice….. Very dissapointed this year….. Ea gets my money……. U guys r fricken robots if u think this crap is good at all…
