NHL 09 Disc Read Error Solution

I don’t know if this issue is still bothering some Xbox 360 owners out there but I got word from the NHL 09 folks at EA that this is a solution to the disc read error some are getting.  I hope it helps.  Before I go, I felt like I should say that my first impressions of NHL 09 are extremely good.  It’s probably the best hockey game I’ve played.  The “Be A Pro” mode is sweet!  I’ll have a review of it soon.

it helps to speed up your whole 360 (i often used it when i was going to do some oblivion, so it’d run a lot smoother) only con is that you have to redownload all the Game updates (not the system updates)

I find it ridiculous you need to clear your cache for something like this!

What exactly gets removed when you clear the cache?
