FUEL Screenshots
It appears that Codemasters has yet to get its fill of racing games and definitely not four-letter names for its racing games. Enter the next four-letter title, FUEL, to add to a pretty impressive line-up of games for far from Codemasters. Here are some pre-alpha screenshots to “fuel” your appetite for more off-road racing.

Screenshots: FUEL (Pre-Alpha)
Developed by Asobo Studios, FUEL will feature the largest “level” ever created in multi-terrain race gaming. Set over 5,000 square miles of environments, FUEL is powered by a cutting-edge proprietary engine that will deliver the ultimate competitive no-boundaries racing experience. Bringing this vast, open ended landscape to life is a dynamic weather system with full day and night transitions, brilliant sunshine, torrential rain and everything in between, plus destructive tornados, sandstorms, thunderstorms, lightning strikes and blizzards requiring mid-race strategy changes.
It’s coming sometime in 2009 so don’t count your pennies just yet.

With 5,000 miles of environments, they should be able to link them together and give us the ultimate open-ended, open-road experience.

@lawlhalla: By the way it is worded - “Set over 5,000 square miles of environments” - gave me the impression that there is more than one environment.
