Guitar Hero World Tour Set List
October 28, 2008. That’s when the Guitar Hero franchise will change forever. It will no longer be just a collection of guitar heroes but instead it’ll be microphone heroes and drums heroes as well.
The game features a slick newly redesigned guitar controller, drum kit controller and a microphone, as well as an innovative Music Studio music creator that lets players compose, record, edit and share their own rock ‘n’ roll anthems. That list ain’t bad, a bit better than RB2’s list IMO. I’m still gonna stick with Rock Band though, don’t like Guitar Hero’s presentation, and this way all the stuff I bought for Rock Band can still be played.

man, i think the setlist kinda sucks… it COULD have been harder and had double bass for drums, and they could have added some better harder songs. Dont get me wrong i like about 90% of the songs , but face it… there songs your gonna be like “OH COOL i havent this in forever!” and then a minute into the song your gonna get bored as shit and wish they had something harder.
Just think… you here wake me up when september ends on the radio… you then are like wow havent heard this in a while… then when the song is over you dont even think about it again, and mostly wont even listen to the song for a very long time. Simply because its a song that you like but dont really care for.

This setlist to me blows!!!! except for metallica, bfmv,OZZY,and van halen and a few others, im a metal head. it seems even guitar hero has sold out to the mainstream shitiness im not gonna buy a 200 game for like 10 or so songs, nothing stands out and says BUY ME!!!! personally go wit rock band 2, it has a better setlist although GHWT will have better game. id rather play fun songs then a fun game wit bad songs

Journey didn’t sing ‘Dust in the wind’. The band Kansas did

horrible, horrible setlist I’m pissed I bought this game and wasted my money. feels like randomly selected trash for the most part, I struggle to believe they could do a worse job picking songs. I could pick apart all the reasons its bad but in general, way too many indie/pop punk/generic rock songs with uninteresting guitar lines and other instrumental parts. a good majority of songs are excruciatingly boring and have little to no re playability. A ridiculous lack of metal/progressive songs and the ones they did pick were not even close to being the best choices, bfmv as one of the only metal bands really.. really?! do they not realize they are insulting the metalheads in the gh community by including that crap.
I’m happy they included my favorite band dream theater but why pull me under? it’s a great song no doubt, but near the bottom I would pick for a rhythm game, its way too easy. why not a song like the glass prison, metropolis pt 1, home, fatal tragedy, or this dying soul all of which would be f’in amazingly fun and hard to play on gh. In fact there are at least 30 DT songs which would have represented their musical intensity so much better. There are a select few really fun songs to play BYOB for example, a number of songs fit well probably about 10-15(stranglehold, satch boogie, trapped under ice, do it again, hotel california, etc.) but thats pretty pathetic in my mind when i’m paying 50 bucks I expect at least 50 percent to be worth playing not 80 percent uninteresting bands who are not even close to having a “guitar hero” in their band. until GH makes a good prog/metal guitar hero I will not be buying another one of their games, and thats including the metallica gh.
