Play of the Week - Mercenaries 2: World In Flames
Despite the use of too much “shine” on some of the characters, I’m having a good time with Mercenaries 2. It’s a lot of fun with the co-op feature and how it allows anyone to join your game. This depends on your settings of course. You can choose “Invitation Only” or “Friends Only” to control who just pops into your games. The other day Pimp Method joined my game and it took me a while to realize there was another mercenary doing damage alongside me. It increased the level of fun though for sure.

I need to check this game out, I’ve been wanting to. Glad to hear that it’s favored by the majority. On a side note, I can’t wait for Gears 2.

i’m waiting for a demo. it feels like a mercenaries 1 with updated graphics to me. still a worthless ai and a lot of rinse and repeat process.
anyone knows if a demo will come out ?

this thread is bullshit theres so many complaints about the buggyness and the co-op is broke NOTHING WORKS ON THIS GAME ITS NOT WORTH BUYING I WASTED £40 ON A FRISBY

I rented this game when it first came out. I haven’t had the chance to play coop yet, but the single player is good for some mindless blowing-stuff-up fun. My one complaint is the repetitive nature of the missions. This game is a great rent, I would hesitate to buy it at the current full price considering the other games that are coming out in the next couple of months.

I just rented it and I don’t even get past the options for online play I click on quick match and don’t even get a sound as if I didn’t hit the A button? WTF good thing I rented it. Cool game though.
