Play of the Week - Soulcalibur IV
I don’t have anything to post right now beyond the fact that I’m enjoying Soulcalibur IV. I’ve been playing it during my Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately I have to head back to work tomorrow but at least I can recommend some fighting fun this week before I go back.
The first thing I noticed was how good the game looks. I had my doubts with the screenshots I had seen but they were indeed real. Boobies, textures…it was all a sight to see. Cervantes has always been my favorite character so I went to what I was used to. I did play with Yoda and The Apprentice a bit but it was all about Cervantes to me.
If you’re into fighters and you happen to have Soulcalibur IV, then give it a shot this week. What’s within your soul?

I lost interest in Fighting games - They get boring fast.

I love fighting games and I love Soulcalibur! I just wish it was a little quicker but with those huge weapons I can understand.

I’m not usually into fighter games but I put a good 40ish hours into this one. I had a ton of fun customizing different characters with different equipment and skills. I’m about Soul Caliber IV’d out though now!

This title will eventually drop in price, I will most likely pick up a used one. Is Yoda good to fight with?

I was impressed with the game as well. The graphics look great and the gameplay is not bad. My only problem with this game is the story modes are really short. Yoda is fun to play with. He is a bad ass! Especially aganist The Apprentice! Something right out of a Star Wars movie.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to fight you for another 4 weeks because of the splint on my right hand.
BTW, were you able to do that critical finish?

SC4 is all I’ve been playing. I can’t get enough. I don’t really have any interest in anything else right now. I always up for a match or two, if anyone wants to play.
For some reason people on my friends list play me once and then ignore my next game invites. I don’t think I stink that bad.
BTW Deac, when are you gonna play a few rounds with me ?
