Braid on XBLA Wed, 1200 Microsoft Points
Summer of Arcade continues this week with an offering from independent developer, Jonathan Blow. Do you think you’ll have more fun with Braid than Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2? If so, then the 1200 Microsoft Points pricing won’t be much of an issue for you.
You can manipulate time to navigate your way through the game but perhaps it would be more fitting to manipulate the price? Oh how I used to love you 400 point titles but you are slowly fading away.

holy cow, 1200 points! Penny Arcade was justified since theirs was a RPG, but this is just an arcade game. I’ll wait for Bionic Commando next week then…most definitely.

I tried the trail just to see and its a cute looking game but I don’t see why it’s 1200 points and I deleted it after 10 minutes of trying it. Fail!

Just tried the trial version. Great music and art direction. I think the game is really innovative and fresh. I got all the puzzle pieces and found the castle, but I’m not sure there would be any replay value once you have figured out how to pass each level, so I decided not to purchase until the price goes down or I get some free MS points (hint hint, nudge nudge, Deacon).
