ZOMG! I’m one of those numbers for the PS3 sales! XD The PS3 is a decent system and all it needs is some good games. I’ve had the PS1 and the PS2, all Sony needs to do is make the sequels and remakes of games people want and they would sell like crazy. Maybe they’re holding them back for the PS4. O_O Or they could just be deaf….. Yeah I think they need wax remover.

BluRay won and the PS3 is STILL the cheapest bluray player on the market. That’s one factor. The Netflix bit might help combat a LITTLE, but not enough to make a real difference.

Fact remains that in each consoles first 12 months, the 360 spanked in sales. Way more in its first year than PS3 in its first year. Which brings us back to the age old: everyone already HAS a 360, now they’re adding PS3′s to their collection.

Not everyone out there is trying to buy two or three 360′s. Sales have to drop off some time!

Seriously you’re banned Mike? Why isn’t SilenScope452 banned. He comes in several times a month and posts stuff that doesn’t have anything to do with xbox at all.

BTW we could use more outspoken people on the forums. I got sick of all the mini-mods during E3. There is so much buttkissing on xbox.com I’m for following the rules 97% of the time, but it was disgusting.

Anyway back on topic: I agree with everything you said Deac, but I’ve never heard of mind “bottling”.

I think this will keep being the only “bump” Sony will have during the year. If you see the results from Japan, where Solid Snake is almost a hero, the game does not appear even in the first 10 places whatsoever. For the PS3 fanboys of course it was something to be expected, and I doubt any of them didn’t purchase it regiously to keep the Saga, but as far as the rest of the “who the hell is this guy” players, they didn’t make a difference. So, another chance wasted (they shouldn’t have done a long movie with game included) for the “cheapest blue-ray player” camp.
