Themes With New Dashboard Mock Ups
There has been a lot of interest in the New Xbox Experience coming this Fall. Buried in the excitement behind the new Dashboard is the question “Where will my Themes and Gamerpics go?”. Well, Microsoft has cooked up a few mock-ups of what your current Themes could look like within the new experience.
I must say that if it ends up looking like this, I’ll be very pleased. You can view a few more of the pics here.

Looks polished. Looking forward to it.

Like that. One thing about some of the themes now is you can’t see stuff a lot of the time. This looks like they cleaned it up and you might see more of the pics now. Thumbs up!

Hey this looks drop dead gorgeous with the themes!!
BTW Paladin this is the Press demo build which doesn’t have ads yet. They will probably put ads in later, so hopefully they won’t cover the theme like they did before.
What’s this Deac?

I like the look, not as cluttered. Wonder what they will do with advertisements? It will be interesting.

that’s a good question.

I dunno about the rest of y’all, but that avatar crap is creepin’ me right the funk out.
Why would Microsoft want to incorporate basically a 3D version of “the sims” into the dashboard for the 360?!
Just seems less than the “hardcore” image the 360 is supposed to communicate. If I wanted a “soft” system, I’d go with the Wii.
ARGH! I wonder if there’s any way to avoid getting the updated dash…or just be able to turn that garbage off.

I think what I’m trying to say is that I don’t want a 3D rendered version of ME, of all people, waving at me when I turn on the most ultimate gaming system on the planet.
