Free Microsoft Points for MSN Design Challenge
Want to score some easy and FREE Microsoft Points? MSN Autos is hosting a Dream Design Challenge open to US residents that includes the easiest way to collect Microsoft Points I’ve ever seen. Design your dream car, submit the entry and then mark the checkbox to receive your 100 Microsoft Points. These are promotional points so as you should know already, they expire. In fact, the expiration date for any points received via this challenge is Feb 17, 2009.

Here are the ways to get Microsoft Points
- 100 Points for registering for the Promotion for the first time (limit one (1) registration per entrant/email address during Entry Period); Thereafter, 50 Points can be earned each day for creating and entering a ‘Dream Car’ (limit one (1) entry per entrant/email address per Calendar Day during the Entry Period); and
- 50 Points can be earned for every one (1) “rating” made by entrant of a ‘Dream Car’ Entry posted on the Site’s gallery (limit one (1) rating/entrant/email address per Calendar Day during the Entry Period).
So what this means is that you can not only score the 100 Microsoft Points for simply entering, but you can also grab an extra 100 each day. (50 for creating a new car & 50 for rating an entry) In fact, you can vote for my car design right here! If my math serves me correctly, that’s a lot of possible free points. I don’t know about you but in the words of my dear friends Wayne and Garth, “SHWING!”.
Oh and there’s also a chance to win a 2009 Dodge Challenger, 8 GB Zune Originals, Xbox LIVE Gold memberships and other things. The promotion ends on August 25. Head over to start making those car designs. Don’t say that Deacon doesn’t look out for ya.

well i got a grand total of 800 so im pretty well off. And i think there was a glitch in the point system because you could rate another car for an extra 50 points per day.

I was getting points every day for logging in. I dunno what was up with that, but when I logged out the night before I would have like 300 points, and come back the next day and have 350. Counting the first 100, I’ve made away with 950 points.

ya ive gotten 750 points but i cant get anymore! I thought the max was 2000

There was a max of 2000, but they also had a limited amount of total points to give out, and from what I hear people kept making new accounts to get more points and they probably ate them all up.

@RaptorJedi, that’s the sad part of society. especially internet society. if people like that bothered “reading” they’d know you can only use the points once on one account (Gamertag).
so a lot of people have 100 point codes with no one to use them. i guess they’ll just randomly give them out to friends/family who knows. those codes expire though so a lot of points will be wasted due to internet ignorance.

that is really unfortunate. I have 750 points. Now im just 50 shy of being able to atleast get an arcade game

Yup, I topped out at 750 too… Hmmm, is this a ploy to get us to buy more points? Anyone bust the 750 mark? LOL

ok the date is september 24th and i didn’t get any email about any points… they say i have like 500 points comming to me… anyone else didn’t get an email?
