Schizoid & Golf: Tee It Up in the Arcade
It’s Wednesday and the Xbox Live Arcade has a double offering of madness and balls (of the golf variety) for you. The golf game doesn’t look bad at all. And I loved Geometry Wars so Schizoid should at least be able to hold my attention.

Billed as “the most co-op game ever,” reflexes and smarts are key but sharp teamwork pays off even more! Ram your way through waves of glowing enemies: single player with an AI bot helper; or co-op multiplayer with two players offline or online through Xbox LIVE. It features over 120 challenging levels of mayhem that will appeal to casual and hardcore gamers alike.

Pick up and play a few quick holes on your own or compete in a full 18-hole multiplayer tournament with friends. With the unique Focus feature, you can read the green or control the ball’s spin in flight to achieve amazing precision! It features zany, customizable characters and a variety of game modes including stroke, cup, or match play with local or Xbox LIVE multiplayer modes.
I think I’ll be on the greens doing my best Tiger impression with this. And perhaps I’ll take to the co-op arena and get paranoid with Schizoid. Although I will admit the price point scares me. What about you?

Never been a huge fan of mini-arcade style golf games… they just never feel like they’re worth ten bucks. But I’ll give it a shot tonight, it at least looks aesthetically pleasing!

The screen grab looks cool for the Golf game, but I’d like to see the actual game play. What I love about the Arcade is try before you buy!

Both games are fairly interesting actually. I liked them both, not sure if I’m going to pick up both, but maybe.
