Wanted, Bad Company & Kane
Happy Monday! (again) I won’t complain much about not wanting to be at work right now because everyday is a blessing if you’re alive and healthy. The Five Days of Kane Giveaway ended on Friday and what an amazing time it was! HeadGeek, GOON360, RaptorJedi13, Deadly Cyclone and Intangible 360 managed to secure themselves the Kane goodies. I know you guys have already sent your addresses but send them again please.
I saw Get Smart this weekend and it was alright. It wasn’t amazing but I’m a fan of The Rock and Steve Carrell so I enjoyed it. What’s surprising is that Mike Myers’ new flick, The Love Guru, only managed $14 million this weekend. I guess he shouldn’t just called it The Other Austin Powers movie or something. I plan to see it but after I see Wanted this weekend. It opens on Friday, June 27. It should be a good one even though one of the ultimate assassins, Angelina Jolie, weighs about 70 lbs. in it.
I had Battlefield: Bad Company at my doorstep on Friday so I had a chance to play it early. Big shout to EA for the nice surprise. The Frostbite engine is really nice. The audio it delivers for the environments, action and the weapons is a treat to listen to. And blowing things up never gets dull. I should have a review for it soon after some more time with it. One thing I’ll point out is that the AI of your squad leaves much to be desired. I love the weapons though. I hope enough people grab this so we can get some Gold Rush going on an Unscripted Nights event!

Your right, Deacon. Everyday that you are alive and healthy is a blessing. I am a huge Steve Carrell fan myself so I am sure that I will find myself in a theatre before the end of the week. Have fun with Bad Company, I hope to pick it up soon( it may be time to sell GTA…). Anyway, have a great Monday everyone! Lets play sometime.

Lucky man on the BFBC. but im not surprised about the love guru it didn’t look that funny to me but all my friends who saw it said it was hilarious.
I still say The Zohan was the funniest.

My copy of BFBC should be here within the next few hours, can’t wait to play that. I have a friend who works at the cineplex in Denver and so he got to see the Love Guru a few days ago and claims it was HORRIBLE. One of the worst movies he’s ever had to sit through lol.

I’m also very excited for Wanted. It’ll be the third movie I see in theatres this year, which is rare for me, cause in all the past years of my life, I usually went to the theatre once a week at least, but this year I just haven’t. Only movies I saw were Cloverfield (one of the best movies I’ve ever seen in my life) and The Happening (one of the worst). I’ll be seeing Wanted at midnight on Thursday night, by myself.

I think a lot of what happened to “The Love Guru” is due to the trailers. For non-Mike Myers fans it wasn’t all that appealing.
