UFC 2009 Undisputed
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a huge UFC/MMA fan. If fact, this past weekend was the finale of The Ultimate Fighter and my boy Amir found a way to arm bar CB Dollaway again to win the season. I’m already excited about the next season when the Lightweights and Light Heavyweights will do battle.
Anyway, perhaps lost in the shuffle this weekend was the debut of THQ’s UFC 2009 Undisputed video game. I’ve been waiting on more news of this game since the E3 tech demo announcement a while ago. What I saw wasn’t really anything to get me excited but at least it’s something. The trailer shows Rampage Jackson and Forrest Griffin in the cage battling. The character models are okay and the gameplay looks promising. It just doesn’t look “next-gen” but it’s the first shot at MMA on the Xbox 360 so I’ll just hope for more before release.
The features sound great though. There’ll be a career mode and more than 80 top names in the UFC included in the game. You’ll also be able to create your own UFC fighter! Check out all of the other features below. I’m ready to dish out some punishment!

I’m for sure going to at least rent this game. By the way Amir whooped ass last night!!! I was just upset Tanner lost but he had a huge height and reach disadvantage but hes still the man and never goes down.

Considering I’m a huge UFC fan, I might check this out. Brandon Vera got robbed in UFC 85 Bedlam. I can’t wait for this saturdays UFC!!! I’m pumped!! Quinton Jackson vs. Forrest Griffin is gonna be sick!

You know im hyped about it. I really liked the Character’s in the other video that was put out awhile back. Hope fully they will add the detail to these that those had.

I’m a big UFC fan and the game sounds promising, but I wasn’t really impressed by the gameplay video. The animations looked a bit choppy in the transitions between moves, but that could be something they’re still working on.

I think this game is gonna be sick. The movement is choppy? guys they have another half year to work that out. This game is gonna get sports game of the year for sure! 80+ fighters!!! cant wait!
