NBA Live 09 Official Site Brings Details
EA Sports launched the official site for NBA Live 09 today and with it came a few details on their next NBA offering. Line Producer, Brian Ullrich, has a blog with information on the new NBA Academy, QuickStrike Ankle-breakers, Pick and Roll Control, and Signature Play Calling. He also mentioned the inclusion of a new cloth simulation in NBA Live 09 that I expect will melt your faces. Perhaps it won’t be that dramatic but it should be interesting to see nontheless.
“It’s a huge new practice facility where you can shoot around with your teammates, work on your game, and play skill-based games to get better and learn how to use all the new gameplay features,” Brian said when speaking about NBA Academy.
I know I might be in the minority of people who actually prefer NBA Live to NBA 2K but oh well. It’s my party and I can prefer Live if I want to. Head over and keep up to date with other producers on Live 09 at the official site. I hope they make Dirk unstoppable!

but seriously, it’ll probably melt chocolate considering that it’s 105 degrees here in Southern California… I hate this weather…

I seen the trailer and it looks good although I don’t think that was actual gameplay. I’ma give them this last year, if they don’t do anything with 09 Im through will Live. I use to be like Deac and only play live but after 06 and 07 I had enough, it just wasn’t doing it for me. I probably wouldn’t have played 08 if I wouldn’t have won it from Deac.

finally! someone else who prefers LIVE over 2K…personally i hate 2K Sports all together but if EA finally buys 2K, yes it would be a complete domination of sports that will break the space time continuem (sp?)…maybe not that far, but amazinger games anyway. i didnt buy LIVE 08 because i thought it would be like 07, which i didnt like, but then i rented it and found it to be amazing.
