I always say ”better late than never” when it comes to certain things and D3Publisher obviously lives by that philosophy too as they finally dish out a demo for Dark Sector. You shouldn’t need a demo for this game after reading U360’s Dark Sector review which was a most excellent breakdown of the game. There’s also an equally awesome Q&A with Dave Kudirka, Associate Producer at Digital Extremes for you to read.
Those of you who haven’t tried Dark Sector, get ready to get your glaive on! It’s only $39.95 in stores now (and maybe even cheaper in some places) so it’s an even better deal.

Developed by acclaimed developer Digital Extremes, Dark Sector, thrusts players into the role of Hayden Tenno, an elite black-ops agent sent on a dangerous mission into a decaying Eastern European city that hides a deadly Cold War secret.
Attacked by an unknown enemy, he awakens to find part of his body altered by an infection that has granted him inhuman abilities; now he must learn to evolve along with his powers, to survive and to become a hero.

Man this game kicks so much ass. I’ve been playing it the last few days and just beat it a few minutes ago and I LOVED it. I even e-mailed the developers, which is something I’ve never done before, to let them know how awesome I thought it was.
