Kevin Garnett Graces NBA 2K9 Cover
Does a particular player on the cover of your favorite sports game matter? Before today I might have said nope but I think my interest in NBA 2K9 just went up because of Kevin Garnett. 2K Sports just announced that Garnett is their cover athlete for NBA 2K9. KG has been one of my favorite players for a long time. He plays the game with an intensity you don’t see often and he does it on every play.
He and his Boston Celtics are up 1-0 in the NBA Finals against the LA Lakers and now this. I guess the fact that he might just get that elusive NBA title has added to the hype around 2K9…at least for me. BEAT LA! Check out the video below!

I used to love the T’Wolves, but ever since he was traded I started loving the Celtics. He too is also my favorite player. He has been for years.
Good decision putting him on the cover.

KG has restored the lost Celtic pride of the 80s. He truly has brought back “The Garden” feel again. I hope he finally wins a title this year. GO CELTICS!
