New Fallout 3 Screenshots
Okay. Which of you are ready to fall for Fallout 3 this Fall? I know I am. (you like the play on “fall” I know) The game is looking incredibly good and what you’ve seen so far here on U360 has been all in-game stuff. Impressive this generation has become. Check out the contents of the Collector’s Edition on Bethesda’s blog. I’m hoping I get to run it through the Edition Examiner when it releases!

Man, I was such a big fan of the previous fallouts playing from a birds eye view. Now they’re going 3rd person? I haven’t read much on it, anyone know what the gameplay is like FPS? <- that would be sick.

It’s using the same game engine by the same developer = Same feel & slightly improved graphics over Oblivion

yep i know it’s using Oblivion’s engine. but hey with all the acclaim Oblivion has received, i think playing like it won’t be a bad thing

I do… Fallout is not a hack n’ slash RPG & have you tried playing Oblivion in 3rd person view = It’s terrible & most people I know will want to play Fallout in 3rd person.

I played through Oblivion (almost 85 hours) all in 3rd person … lol .. I can’t wait for fallout, and I will probably play that in 3rd as well

In all seriousness… Playing in 3rd person in Oblivion feels like your character is floating while moving in a stiff mannequin manner… It’s bad, really bad.

definitely got to do some research on this game. especially cause bethesda is making it just became a top priority.
