Want more Rock Band? It doesn’t matter what your answer is actually because you’re getting it anyway. Harmonix, MTV and EA announced Rock Band 2 is set to release this September for the Xbox 360 and other platforms. Yes, that’s this September as in 3 month from now. At least Xbox 360 owners will enjoy a few months of exclusive bliss although I’m not sure who really cares. Rock Band 2 won’t hit other platforms until after the Xbox 360’s release.

“Microsoft has been a great partner throughout the launch of Rock Band in the last year and their continued support is instrumental in supporting the more advanced features and cross title compatibility we will have in Rock Band 2,” a Harmonix representative told IGN. “Of course, our goal is to make Rock Band 2 accessible to all and we look forward to bringing Rock Band 2 to all relevant platforms later this year.”
I know this was no surprise to anyone but I’m actually surprised it’s going to be released so soon. I hadn’t heard anything until now and just like magic, it’s only 3 months away. Harmonix says that things have been vastly improved. The good thing for Rock Band DLC buyers is that it’ll all be playable with Rock Band 2. And there are even hints at cross-platform sharing?
Prepare for a true battle of the bands this year with Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2. Get ready to rock (some more). Which will you choose?

Okay, I think I’m convinced that Call of Duty: World at War will be slightly more graphic than we’re used to in a Call of Duty experience. The Pacific Theater may have opened up a new round of melee weapons and scenarios that I expect Treyarch to get some heat on. World War II and war in itself is a touchy subject and with the way “realism” is being pushed these days, I wouldn’t be surprised at the heat.
Look at this POW (Prisoner of War) sequence below. Treyarch should tread carefully.

I’m sure plenty of you have been waiting for the new DRM Tool from Microsoft to properly transfer your content license to another console so that you don’t have to be connected to Xbox Live in order to play your purchased content. Well, Microsoft released that tool today. You don’t have to worry about getting punked by DRM it seems.
I give you the Content License Transfer Tool. One thing I wanted to point from the video below is that movie licenses will not be transferred and you’ll only be able to do this once a year. Yep, that’s one time per 12 months. Those of you getting refurbished consoles should have your licenses transferred for you from now on.
Click here for detailed instructions on using the DRM Tool
Two Part Process
It’s a simple two-part process.

First, you must transfer your authorized licenses on Xbox.com.

Second, you must download the transferred licenses onto your new Xbox 360.

Why Denis why? It appears that Silicon Knights President and head honcho on Too Human, Denis Dyack, has decided to open the floodgates of hell by calling out the members of the NeoGAF message boards. Fueled by a soaring amount of negativity surrounding Too Human, Denis apparently felt it was time to call out those who are “For” and “Against” his title. Stand and Be Counted.
“I think it is time to draw the digital line. Too Human will be out in August and I think there is going to be a lot of trolls crying here. Either way when the game comes out this forum will likely be on fire. So in order to try to put it out some gasoline on this fire I will ask those interested to stand up and be counted…” (see full quote below)

Ready for more inside scoop on the guys and girls gaming it up in the community? Although silence is usually golden, I’ll expect a loud roar with this one as we were born in the same month.
Put your hands together people and dig in.
Outside of gaming, what is your world like?
On weekends, almost religiously, I can be found putting for par (often one over par) on the lush green of one of my local disc golf courses starting around 7am on Saturday (and occasionally Sunday) mornings.
I recently finished a year of school studying Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. That consumed my evenings twice a week and about ten Saturday mornings for our mandatory “internship” clinic. I’m soon to sit for the national certification exam (NCE) and will shortly thereafter be a licensed practitioner. My plans are to work in a chiropractic or sports club setting.
The Behemoth and their highly anticipated Xbox Live Arcade title, Castle Crashers, are getting into the survey business. The most interesting thing about this particular survey is one of the categories included a certain place that you might be familiar with. There’s a category asking how much one reads a particular website and one of the listed sites is your favorite hangout, Unscripted 360. I expect you all to be honest and select “Read All The Time”. It adds the needed spice and flare to the survey I think.
The Behemoth just made their way onto my Christmas list. I hope the game finds its way to the Xbox Live Arcade soon. It’s currently going through the motions in the certification process so cross your fingers that it won’t be long until it releases. And to make the survey even better, I added a little humor to one of the Castle Crashers wallpaper.

It’s madness I tell ya the cost of maintaining a good old fashioned geek lifestyle. I mean who knew that pounds of cheetos and numerous pints of soda would amount to so much.
GameStrata, the leading online community for gamers, today released results from a survey of North American video game enthusiasts showing that over their peak gaming years of 18-48 the average gamer spends more than $30,500 on games and gaming hardware. Just ask Rick Chapelle.
