Beyond Good & Evil 2, Finally
I suppose if there’s any game that might dig Ubisoft out of its funk, then why not a sequel to one of the original Xbox’s most beloved games? Beyond Good & Evil 2 appears to be in the works after a trailer showcasing Michel Ancel’s latest project was shown at Ubidays 2008. What may be the best news and most exciting is tha the trailer was utilizing the game’s own in-game engine!

It looks like there’s another entry for my game engines article on its way. Did you see how gorgeous that pig was? And that’s in-game…wow. I’ve never played the original but there are enough rabid fans of the series to get me excited. If Jade looks as good as the pig, then I’ll be even more excited. I imagine we’ll see this hitting both the Xbox 360 and PS3 in the near future.
Until then, take a turkey peek at the trailer below.

Hi, Deacon. Indeed, we can only Imagine how Jade will look like. This is a true gem from the classic Xbox that was “screaming” for a second part.
Wonder if we can convince Tim Schaffer to do a sequel for Psychonauts, and have a true platform game for the 360. Take that, Banjo “Car”!!!

Wow!!! That is unbelievable, I remember when Half-Life 2 was first released, it blew my mind away. I hope this is actually in-game-gameplay and not in-game-cinematics. Hopefully they’ll be able to manage some good frame rates with this kind of high resolution.

That’s freaking awesome. I really liked the first game and I want to see what they’re going to do with this one. The Pig sucking in flies with his nose, lol.
