Tell us Aquaboy1976, What’s the story behind your Gamertag?
It started with this clip on the old show Dr Katz. I ran around telling my friends about this and how funny I thought it was. They found a shirt that said “aquaboy” on it. I eventually tried using that as my online name, but it was taken already. I then added the year of my birth to it and ta-daaa, it’s now what I use!
What is your world like outside of gaming?
Outside of gaming I work, read, spend time with my wife, kids, dogs and friends. I should also mention I love watching my favorite TV show “LOST”.
What is a normal gaming session like for you?
I used to spend almost every moment of my free time playing video games. Since my son has been born, I’ve learned how important it is to cut back on gaming and spend time with my family. On a typical night now, I spend maybe an hour or two gaming.
What types of games do you enjoy playing the most?
I used to be big into turn based RPG games like Final Fantasy. Those have not interested me as of late. I’m more into real time combat RPG games now. In addition, I like some FPS (Half-Life 2, Halo, Bioshock, etc) and action games!
In your opinion what was the best game ever made? Any Platform.
Oh lord that is a tough question to answer! I guess if I had to pick I’d say maybe God of War 2. It has a great story and great gameplay!
If you could add one thing to the Xbox 360 what would it be?
That’s a tough question, I am pretty happy with my Xbox 360. The most important thing to me is a good selection of games. I can’t really think of anything off the top of my head.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever heard on Xbox LIVE?
When Xbox Live first launched I was playing it at my friend’s house. When she spoke while playing the games, the guys on the other end of the headset were really shocked and said something like “oh my god, a girl on Xbox Live!!”.
Do you play to have fun, gamerscore or achievements?
I mainly play to have fun. I’m not super competitive or anything. I must say, I really like when I unlock achievements though.
Hot celeb you’d like to be stranded on a desert island with?
Jessica Alba is pretty hot.
Ok. One game. One shot. You vs. DJSteel who wins and what game are you playing?
How about Madden 08, DJSteel wins. I suck at Madden 08!
