Content Creation Challenge Results
Remember the DP Content Creation Challenge a few months back when gamers could create their own themes and have others vote on them for cool prizes and contracts? Well, the My360Theme event has ended and the winners have been dished out. The solo community winner was an entry from xGryfter called Real Or Fantasy. It ended up getting the most votes on the individual leaderboards. You can expect the theme to be available on Xbox Live Marketplace at some point. Congrats to xGryfter. I guess when it’s all said and done nature beats all?
He or she gets the HDTV, Blu-ray player, Nokia N81, a publishing contract and gaming goodies. The winning community site was the10k.com with a barrage of support from its peeps who vaulted them to the top of the community leaderboard. Congrats to Rod and the crew!
I hope the opportunity to create and vote was a lot of fun for you guys and girls. It was great seeing so much participation in the challenge. There were some amazing creations submitted. I’m sure we’ll be seeing some of the themes that didn’t win make their way to the Marketplace as well. At some point, I’ll be dishing out some Microsoft Points to you all as a result of U360’s participation. So stay tuned for that.
I want to thank Disruptive Media Publishers and Nokia for a very cool opportunity for the community! I hope we can do it again but only this time crush the competition. (yay for Hulk smash)

I lost to a stunning theme, so it’s fine in my books. Thanks for the props Deacon, I had a blast doing it. Though I really could have used a new tv. :p

uh sorry but i fail to see what’s so special about a photoshopped image of trees. there were a TON of more original and actual stylish themes way better than a photoshopped stock image

I voted for BB’s and Deacon’s theme(s). That stinks U360 didn’t take it. We’ll get ‘em next time, slugger!
