Gears of War 2 Gameplay Trailer on Marketplace
Shortly after we’ve all wrapped up in the Unscripted Nights event tonight, Epic Games will unleash the very first look at actual gameplay from Gears of War 2. The trailer is set to hit the Xbox Live Marketplace tonight following the 10PM PST / 1AM EST premiere on Spike TV’s “Gametrailers TV with Geoff Keighley”. It’s supposedly a 2-minute trailer featuring a look at some insane chainsaw duels. I’m really excited to see the new Unreal Engine 3 in action!
It should be one hell of a night tonight with a little thuggin’ with Unscripted Nights followed by some good old fashioned COG Town action to wrap things up. Be ready to thug it up and then download the world premiere gameplay trailer for Gears of War 2 tonight!

I can’t wait, I am more pumped about this game than I have been for any other game in a long time. The first Gears of War melted my face off and runied my carpet because of that. This time, I’ll be ready with mop, bucket, bib and tarp on the ready.

It will be very interesting to see how it looks compared to the original Gears. Hopefully it blows us away!

So, I watched the in-game footage and while the game looked gorgeous (no surprise) it seemed that it was nothing more than an expansion. Granted it was only about a minute of in-game footage, with the rest of the time spent stroking Cliffy B’s ego. He is not camera shy. Does anyone else feel the same way about the “expansion” idea?

Watched the clip and it was pretty cool. Looks like I’ll learn how to play more third person style games if I keep this up.
