Slimer. Gozer. Venkman and Egon. Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! Sierra Enteraintment had a little portofolio showcase of sorts last week out in California highlighting their upcoming games and they shared a few tidbits of their show with me. One such tidbit were new screenshots of Ghostbusters The Video Game. Don’t cross the streams but you can view the screens!

Memories…I’ll be one of the first to admit this I’m pretty pumped about this game.

I was reading about how the developers were thinking about doing a modern version of the theme song. Fortunately they proposed this idea to a focus group and it didn’t go over very well. They said they got booed out of the place. Thankfully they’ll be using the original theme song.

Who you gonna call ? I really hope they don’t let the fans down. I’ve been waiting a long time for a real Ghostbusters game.

From Kotaku, “Bill Murray’s due to hit the studio next week to record all-new lines for the game.” 0_0 Can’t wait to hear him and the rest of the original cast in the game… MASS HYSTERIA!!

Not to rain on the parade, but I am very skeptical of the movie’s transition to the gaming world. Also, as much of a fan of the movie as I was at 14, I can’t quite get excited for the game at all. For the developers, I hope this is not the general view held by gamers.

I am a huge fan of the Ghostbusters, and when i saw this in a magazine I was amazed on how good it looked. I hope this is the start of a good francise and not just a one game showing.
