hartman, the guitar is the same exact one as the GH3 controller, only it comes with an Aerosmith faceplate, and yes the GH3 controller works with rock band. that is why they only put 1 rock band guitar with the bundle because they expect most of us to have the GH3 guitar. if it doesnt work, somethin is wrong with it.

I hope this wirless guitar works with the xbx batery pack b/c double A (AA) batteries suck.

Also – will this guitar work with Rock Band? B/c the GH3 guitar wont work on Rock BAnd.

i feel the same way Scare. for some reason i enjoy the music of GH3 way more.

RB is a great game, but to ME, GH3 has much better music. I get too distracted with all the lights with RB. I love Aerosmith, one of my favorites, so this game is a must get along with: SW:Force Unleashed and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Got my new Alice Cooper Face Plate and I am loving it.
